Alpha 3 trekked over 200km through the desert and made it successfully to the coast for a celebratory barbeque. After three weeks of porridge, crackers and maize meal everyone did think it was all of their birthdays come at once!

Hello Angharad, it's great to hear your voice & read the group's blog; "Most likely to return as staff member eh?" Look after those feet carefully! Everyone I meet asks about your progress & sends good wishes. Today it was the ladies in the optician's. We all send our love Mum & B xxxx
Helen ! that last blog made me laugh and laugh! I have just done 4 nights in a row, 3 in CDU and your expolits of getting lost on a straight line journey made me laugh at loud! I can just imagine it... Were you singing to yourself the "ladies of the heir among the court of King Curacticus" or a " a one eyed , one horned, purple people eater!" Missing you heaps and I'm enjoying suturing pigs trotters. Got your letter too. Loads of love Karen Frenchay ED
Taffy,
GOT LOST! What a surprise, you are the only person we know who can get on the wrong bus, stand outside Debenhams and ask which way to Debenhams! Oh and drive forward in a straight line, straight into a tree, denting a landrover and saying 'OOPS! But what tree, I didn't see a tree.' It's great reading the blogs and keeping upto date with what's happening.
Love Karen and Ash xxx
